Back to work

I'm scheduled to teach a May term (aka summer school) course, beginning tomorrow, God willing. It's the first time I've taught a college class since my retirement, three years ago. The course is an introductory biology for non-majors. I wonder if I can figure out how to do it? God helping me, I can.

I took that May term course from you a few years back. You did a great job then, and I'm sure you will do great this May.

  2. Martin,
I hope you enjoy getting back into the classroom. I'm sure you can do it. Your mind is alive, awake. You are really interested in your subject.
What a great time of year, and a great location, to be studying biology.

  3. You can do it with your eyes closed and both hands tied behind your back - - - - but you might PREFER the eyes wide open hands free form more. :-)

  5. I recently heard someone (I believe it was my sister) bemoaning the fact that she had already taken her lab science and wishing she had known you were going to be teaching this summer. Can't wait to see you around campus! I'm taking terrorism...

  6. That was an unexpected response! Thanks, everyone, including anonymous. The students may think I'm teaching terrorism, or may consider practicing it . . .
