Environment: The weather in Antarctica was so bad in December and January 2021-22, that thousands of birds did not produce eggs.
Science: Nature reports that dinosaur bones were like corrugated cardboard, strong but light.
Gizmodo reports on some extinct marsupial animals, including a good-sized predator.
