Someone named C. Michael Patton, whom I don’t know, has posted a chart, with accompanying text, on seven different levels of Christian belief. These range from essential for all Christians to Not Important and Pure Speculation (even though some Christians believe these things). I think that the chart, and the lists of items, are pretty well done, although all the commenters don’t think so.
Thanks for reading. Read Patton.
Musings on science, the Bible, and fantastic literature (and sometimes basketball and other stuff).
God speaks to us through the Bible and the findings of science, and we should listen to both types of revelation.
The title is from Psalm 84:11.
The Wikipedia is usually a pretty good reference. I use the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible, and try to cite it appropriately. I also use the World English Bible (WEB), which is public domain. I am grateful.
