Things I have recently spotted that may
be of interest to
someone else:
Health: The University of Southampton (in the UK) has reported on a
study of near-death phenomena, based on hospital reports.
Science: Ants can regulate their falls from heights, so that they land where
they want to. (Report from Wired.)
Wired also reports on how to understand cat behavior. You really can.
From the BBC: flocks of over a million starlings perform what looks like a dance, or an animated sculpture.
Sports: From USA Today - Steve
Nash, a long-time spectacular and hard-working NBA player, may finally
have to retire, due to injury.

Musings on science, the Bible, and fantastic literature (and sometimes basketball and other stuff).
God speaks to us through the Bible and the findings of science, and we should listen to both types of revelation.
The title is from Psalm 84:11.
The Wikipedia is usually a pretty good reference. I mostly use the World English Bible (WEB), because it is public domain. I am grateful.

Those articles on animals -- Wow! Especially the starlings. I've seen starlings, birds we call starlings anyway, in groups in the yard, in the trees, flying about, but never in the fantastic formations shown here. It was like watching fish in a large aquarium - the cloud-like formations, not the individual birds.
I'm sharing this post with my husband.
Yes. One of my brothers said the same about fish and the starlings.
Thanks!
