Sunspots 814

Things I have recently spotted that may be of interest to someone else:

Christianity: Joel Edmund Anderson explains the genres of Genesis, and more.

Environment: Gizmodo reports that the Trump administration has relaxed the rules that require efficient use of water by dishwashers. Really.

The Trump administration has just made it harder to use scientific studies to ban or regulate environmental and health threats.

Ethics: Gizmodo considers the question of whether we should try to populate other planets or asteroids with genetically modified organisms.

Politics: While many people have been disturbed by some of the things President Trump has said, CNN reminds us of some of the things that he should have said, but didn't, which omissions are equally disturbing.

Sports: Fox News, and other outlets, report that, for the first time, a woman became a head coach in the NBA. (Usual coach Greg Popovich was ejected, and she took over.) Congratulations to Becky Hammon.

The most amazing (and lucky) golf shot I've ever seen.

The graphic used in these posts is from NASA, hence, it is free to use like this.

Thanks for looking!
