Musings on science, the Bible, and fantastic literature (and sometimes basketball and other stuff).
God speaks to us through the Bible and the findings of science, and we should listen to both types of revelation.
The title is from Psalm 84:11.
The Wikipedia is usually a pretty good reference. I mostly use the World English Bible (WEB), because it is public domain. I am grateful.

Mutated azalea
This azalea grows outside a bedroom window. My wife took the picture from inside the house, while I tried to hold a branch out of the way, so that the main reason for the picture would be visible. That reason is that there is a branch that has flowers that are obviously a lighter color than the rest of the bush. This is probably due to some sort of mutation. "Sports" like this have been used to develop many new varieties of plants.
