This post was viewed over 300 times, for which I am grateful.

However, in March, 2013, I decided to update it. The new post, much like the old one, is here.

Thanks for web surfing. Read the new post.

Hello!

You quote: “ Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25a whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith”

If you want to teach the kids what the first century Jew Ribi Yehoshua (the Messiah) from Nazareth, then please research the below website.
I recommend you to do an extensive research of the origins of NT, Paul’s doctrines and the Church in the below website (and learn what the followers of first century Ribi Yehoshua said about Paul and the Church.)

Well, that's interesting, maybe even correct, but it's certainly not my tradition, in all sorts of ways.

I believe in the Messiah prophesied by Isaiah, and that Jesus Christ fulfills those prophecies, by His birth, His suffering, and the redemption He brings. See especially Isaiah 53.

Thanks.

'It is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." Rom 2:13

Just in case you didn't know it the God made a change of of the law AFTER Jesus was crucified.

"The law was added so that the trespass might increase." Rom 5:20

See Heb. 7:12b.

Whom will you get to die in your place for disobeying this law? Regarding that there is no more sacrifice for sin.

Thanks, Theodore A. Jones.

And if God added a law to physical laws?

As to your "How to be saved" Won't work.

Theodore A. Jones said...

The formula for LIFE both physical and spiritual is:

God's oath+ the trespass of Jesus crucifixion+ a law= the righteousness of God as a gift with the exponent of infinity.

Have I got your attention yet?

Martin LaBar said...

You had my attention at the first comment, Theodore A. Jones.

Let's hope we both are saved.

Theodore A. Jones said...

Only one of us. For it is only through fully comprehending and obeying the apostles message that one might be saved. I know that you have neither read nor heard that message until now.

THE GIFT of the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD

"It is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.

For after Jesus was crucified, God, according to his set purpose for each man, made a change to the law by adding one word. God had kept this secret to himself before the earth was even created. For if the true reason for Jesus' crucifixion would have been able to have been discovered from any source Jesus would not have been crucified. For it is only by his death caused by bloodshed and his resurrection and return back to his Father that an offering to God has been sufficient to establish the of condition unilateral guilt, as a sin, by one man's death caused by bloodshed.
'When he comes he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin." Therefore:

"It is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." Rom. 2:13

For "the law was added so that the trespass might increase. Rom. 5:20 ref. Heb. 7:12b "a change also of the law."

For it is by these two immutable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, God's oath and a change of the law, plus the death of Jesus caused by bloodshed that justifies me to teach you this doctrine of the righteousness of God as a free gift. Whereby if you accept this doctrine by faith and obey God according to this law ALL your sins will be forgiven and with in you God, as promised, will create a new species of man by the faith of a natural man to obey God according to law. "For man can only live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" both physically and spiritually. For only by God's spoken word the natural type of man was created first and then the spiritual type of man is only created by God according to God's spoken oath by each individual physical man obeying God.

"And for Your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from EACH man too, I will demand an accounting for the LIFE of his fellow man Emanuel."

Therefore the command of the Lord thy God given through his apostles can only be obeyed by the faith of confessing with your mouth directly to the Living God, the Father of the Lord Jesus, "Oh God I am so truly sorry Jesus your only begotten son's LIFE was taken by bloodshed" and be baptized into this WAY of righteousness for the forgiveness of ALL your sins and receive the promise of God to create with in you a man who is the new type. However since He has now been made a sin for us by the law not obeying God this WAY is the sin for which there is no forgiveness possible there being no more sacrifice for sin. Amen.

If one can only be saved "only through fully comprehending and obeying the apostles message that one might be saved," to quote you, then a lot of people are going to be left out, including children and babies, people who have mental handicaps, and even some of the New Testament brothers and sisters who didn't fully understand the message of Paul and the other apostles. (The thief on the cross, for one such. He never heard the apostles, and yet Christ promised him redemption. But there were others who had heard, but didn't fully understand Paul, or Peter, and James and John, and that's why they wrote most of what they wrote. These people were addressed as brothers and sisters.)

Perhaps what you say is true, but that's not the way I read the New Testament.

I'm sorry that we disagree. I think this conversation has gone far enough.

Thanks for your concern, Theodore A. Jones.

Brother Martin, I believe you are a faithful Christian. You are right about what you say because in the new testament it clearly states many times that we are no longer saved through the law, but rather by the Grace of God. If we live by the law, then we will sure die by the law. It is only through the repentance of our sins through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that we can are saved. It is clearly in the new testament that we are not forced to live by the law anymore, but rather by the Grace of God that we are saved. Faith, Love, Truth, and Grace. Of course that doesn't mean we should not live our lives according to his word, but rather understand that God is the only one that can transform us through his Holy Sprit to follow him righteously. He is the only one that can make us righteous and holy like him, we just have to ask him in Faith that he will transform us in his likeness. Thanks for your post and I pray that many people are saved by the Truth and Grace of God through his gift of life given by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ! God is so amazing, Glory to the King!

And thank you, mrlinklady.

God bless you.

1. Believe that the BLOOD of Jesus Christ has cleansed us of our sins (you have this truth correct); BUT,

2. Believe IN Jesus (the man) as our savior.

Need both for salvation.... Rom 3:24-26 (KJB)

Thanks, FollowsTheWay.

I don't have any problem with what you said, but I don't think it's necessary to be really technical about this, in order to be saved. To quote Acts 16:31:
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (KJV) Paul and Silas didn't say Jesus' blood, or even Jesus as Savior or Lord, but just to believe in Jesus.
